Kaveri Kalyani, often referred to as Kalyani, (born 24 October) is an Indian actress and film producer who was mainly seen on Malayalam, Telugu, Tamil and Kannada film productions in the Kannada language. Kaveri had a highly acclaimed role in 2002’s film title “Avunu Valliddaru Isa Paddaru! “Avunu Valliddaru is a Paddaru which earned an award for her performance, an award called the Nandi Award for the Best Actress.
Kaveri is born into a Malayali family who settled at Kavumbhagom, Thiruvalla, Kerala. She was the daughter of Muralidharan was employed by the Kerala State Road Transport Corporation.
She was wed to Surya Kiran. They later separated.
She began her film career as a child actor in Malayalam films. She was in numerous Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada films in the language. After performing in supporting and lead parts for Malayalam, Tamil films, she was a female lead in a variety of Malayalam, Tamil, Kannada and Telugu languages in a variety of films.[3[3
She was awarded the Kerala State Television Award for the best Actress in 2002. Anna and the Nandi Award for Best Actress for her role on Avunu Valliddaru Ista Paddaru (2002). She may be most well-known for her roles and critically well-received performance in films like Vasanthiyum Lakshmiyum Pinne Njaanum, Samudhiram, Avunu Valliddaru Ista Paddaru, Kabaddi Kabaddi and Kasi.
